Bob Martin is the UK's leading brand for pet healthcare. The Petfinder system is a consumer product (a unique pet ID tag) combined with an online database, and a 24-hour call centre. With these three elements combined, the Petfinder product gives pet owners the best possible chance of being re-united with their pet if it gets lost.

Netsight was commissioned to create the website and the online database, which is used by both customers and staff at the call centre through different, tailored interfaces. The system allows customers who have bought a Petfinder tag to register (and subsequently amend) their details, and gives full, secure data access to the call centre.

The website and database is the first public-facing ZOPE 3 system that Netsight has delivered, and at launch was one of only a handful in the UK. As a result of the many benefits of the new ZOPE 3 infrastructure the system was delivered in less time, and with more flexibility, than was previously possible.

A second phase of development, adding a variety of new features, is underway.
